VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: The Ally family teamed up with Meals of Hope and the Islamic Community of SWF to host a Meal Packing Event – August 13, 2022.
Attention – Brothers and Sisters of the Islamic Community of SW Florida
On August 13, 2022, Sisters Hamida and Shereen Ally are looking for volunteers to help create food packets for our local neighbors in need.
Who: 55-60 volunteers
What: Make food packets via assembly line format – 5-6 stations of 8-10 persons to make 20,000 meals. Each packet made by yourselves will serve a family of up to 6. Stay after for social hour and a meal provided by the Ally family.
Where:25148 Harbor View Rd, Port Charlotte, FL 33980, patio area of the masjid school/dining facility
When: Saturday, August 13, 2022
Time Frame: Set-up: 11 AM Packing/Social Hour: 1PM – 5PM
Followed by Social Hour/Catered Meal
How: Covid safe set up of assembly packing stations
NOTE: Masks, gloves, and hair caps will also be provided. Gloves and hair caps are required to work at the packing stations.
