You will be introduced to the Islamic contributions to astronomy and navigation. Includes so practical making activities.
The students will be introduced to the Islamic contributions to astronomy and navigation.
Will have an understanding of the lunar phases, in which they will construct a lunar phase flipbook.
Know how to locate the pole star; they will construct an astrolabe to find their latitude.
Have an understanding of Islamic astronomy and its legacy to western culture.
