Description:

Thanks to a grant from the Ontario Anti-Racism Anti-Hate Grant Program, Porchlight Counselling and Addiction Services and the Coalition of Muslim Women K-W have been working together over the last year to develop a new, peer-led training directed at therapists and other frontline workers in our community. This workshop, titled ‘Anti-Islamophobia Training for Mental Health Practitioners,’ is designed to help mental health providers better meet the needs of Muslim families living in Waterloo Region.
