Pre-requisites: Completion of an authorised ‘alimiyyah programme from a recognized institution and/or competency and thorough background knowledge of the subject matter. Competency in writing and understanding Arabic as the course will only be taught in arabic.

ABOUT THE COURSE:

عامة الدارسين للعلوم الشرعية في سياق الدراسة النظامية يدرسون (الفقه) على صفة فروع فقهية، ويغلب أن يكون ذلك بدراسة بعض المراجع المقدَّمة في مذهب من المذاهب الفقهية المتبوعة. كما يدرسون كذلك علم (أصول الفقه) والذي يعرِّف بأدلة الفقه وقواعده، لكن لا تجري في العادة المزاوجة بين العِلْمَين، ولا يتم التدريب على تفعيل أصول الفقه في الفقه، بحيث تبقى تلك الأصول بمثابة طقوس معرفية معطَّلة غير قابلة للاستعمال، مع أنه (علم آلة)، كآلة الزراعة والصناعة.

ومَن سوى هؤلاء الدارسين خلق كثير من المتعرضين للكلام في أحكام الدين وشرائعه، قد يحسِن بعضُهم قراءةَ القرآن وقد لا يحسنها، وقد يطَّلع على بعض السنن النبوية أو لا يعرفها إلى حدِّ أن لا يكون لها دور في فهمه، أما القياس وقواعد المصالح ودلالات اللغة الأصولية، فتلك خاضعة لمعقوله لا يضبطها ضابط ولا يربطها رابط.

فالصنف الأول قصَّر مع قدرته على التمام، والصنف الثاني تجاوز وأسرف، وليس منهما محمود في فعله، والسعيد المحظوظ من استعمل آلة الحرث فحرَثَ، فخرَّج الفروع على الأصول، الأمر الذي لا ريب أنه يحتاج إلى دُربَة ورياضة.

فتأتي هذه الدروة القصيرة الزمن ترمي إلى شحذ الهمة وتقوية العزيمة لاستثمار المعرفة الأصولية في تدبر القرآن ومعرفته وفهم السنة وتنزيلها منازلها واستعمال طرق الاجتهاد، فالأمة بحاجة إلى مفتين يدركون مآخذ الأحكام الشرعية ويجيبون عن النوازل بعلم ومعرفة، وذلك لا يتم دون القدرة على ذلك على وَفق منهج وأصول.

فإن كنتَ دارسًا للعلوم الشرعية فلا غنى لك عن ذلك، وإن كانت مثقفًا من عامة المثقفين فستطَّلع من خلال هذه الدورة على ما لم تكن تعلم، فيزيد عند شرف العلم وأهله، وتجد معينًا لك على تدبر القرآن وفهم توجيهات الأحكام الشرعية، بل ربما وجدتَ نفسك عند مشاركتك في هذه الدورة مدفوعًا لمزيد المعرفة والفهم والتخصص.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER: Shaykh Dr. ‘Abdullah al-Judai’ [Al-Judai’ Centre for Research & Consultations, Leeds, UK]

Shaykh Dr. ‘Abdullah al-Judai’ is of Iraqi heritage and is one of the leading scholars of our time and a key reference-point for the Scholars in the West and beyond. He studied traditionally and received Ijaza from the leading scholars of Iraq. He is one of the founding members of the European Council for Fatwa and Research. Holding a PhD in Islamic Economics and an MA in Islamic Studies. He is the Managing Director of al-Judai’ Centre for Research and Consultations in Leeds, UK, where he provides consulting services to companies in the field of Islamic financial transactions and provides advisory opinions and solutions to social problems. He also conducts arbitration between parties in commercial and personal cases, in addition to preparing and publishing research and studies in various Islamic sciences and issues, and preparing curricula and intensive courses in Islamic sciences such as Arabic language, Quranic sciences, the sciences of Hadith, jurisprudence, and the purposes of Sharia, and others in selected scientific subjects pertaining to as faith, family issues, financial transactions. Dr. al-Judai’ was formerly the head of the European Council for Fatwa and Research, Chairman of the Fatwa Committee of the European Council for Fatwa and Research in the UK and member of the International Union of Muslims Scholars. He has published and edited extensively on a variety of subjects.
