The outline covers the following topics:

  • Understanding the essence of fasting and its far-reaching benefits for the mind, body, and soul.
  • Establishing a clear food and health philosophy, rooted in new beliefs and attitudes.
  • Maximizing productivity during the fast, including strategies for studying, completing chores, and engaging in Quranic reading.
  • Sustaining positive habits beyond Ramadan and cultivating a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
  • Maintaining a positive outlook and fostering a strong spiritual connection throughout the month.
  • Initiating positive, meaningful changes in your life during Ramadan.

Instructor: Mualima Zaitoon Ebrahim

Zaitoon Ebrahim is a Cape Town native who is a motivational speaker, artist, mom of 2, and author. She has a bachelor’s degree in Islamic Theology and worked as an Islamic studies educator while managing youth events for an NGO. She also co-presented on the show “For Young Individuals” to educate young people about entrepreneurship and personal growth. Zaitoon has diplomas in Project Management and Didactics, as well as certifications in various coaching and therapy methods, including Life Coaching and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
