Canadian Muslim Mental Health Conference 2022

The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto along with the Muslim Medical Association of Canada (MMAC) are delighted to announce the 6th Canadian Muslim Mental Health Conference (CMMHC), to be held virtually on Sunday December 11, 2022.

The CMMHC is the only academically-affiliated mental health conference in Canada and focuses on mental health topics in the context of spirituality, ethnicity, race and culture. The conference hosts over 300 attendees from a wide variety of disciplines including health care professionals, religious scholars, teachers, and researchers from across the globe. Speakers and panel members will range from psychiatrists and therapists to spiritual leaders working in the field of mental health. It is open to Canadians of all faiths and backgrounds and we encourage those working with Muslims to attend.

Time: 8:30 am – 9:00 pm ET
Location: Virtual. The Zoom link will be emailed to attendees on Saturday December 10, 1 day prior to the conference. Please check your emails for the Zoom link around that time, as it may be in your “Junk” or “Spam” folders.
