Did you know that Islam has been practiced in the United States since the 1500s? Tune in to find out how historians know this, and to learn more about the history of Islam in North Carolina through the life and works of Omar ibn Sayyid. We’ll also explore some of the Islamic objects in the collection of the North Carolina Museum of History.
