Register now for this year’s second CONNECT Arab America: Empowerment Summit is from November 12-13 in Dearborn, Michigan, with an Optional Community Tour on November 14.
The historic in-person event features an exciting array of speakers in public service, women’s activism, identity, community advocacy, and leadership. Moreover, participants will have many networking opportunities and will celebrate Arab heritage through music, entertainment, and cuisine, cultural and informational exhibits.
The Arab America Foundation (AAF) is a non-profit (501c3) educational and cultural organization. The mission of AAF is to promote the Arab heritage, educate Americans about the Arab identity, and connect and empower Arab Americans with each other and with diverse organizations across the U.S.

Join the National Arab Orchestra (NAO) as they perform LIVE at the Ford Performing Arts Center in Dearborn, MI for the first time since the pandemic began. The NAO is an internationally recognized arts organization that preserves and integrates Arab culture through music. The concert will feature the NAO Takht Ensemble as well as some of the country’s most talented artists. Don’t miss a fantastic evening of great music and celebration that will be sure to make you feel alive with joy!

COVID SAFETY
Your safety is our top priority. We are closely following CDC and State of Michigan Guidelines.
Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 is required when registering. You may show proof of vaccine on a smartphone or by showing a physical copy of the vaccination card or official vaccination record, along with a photo ID, such as a driver’s license or passport.
Unvaccinated attendees must show a negative COVID-19 PCR test. Your test must list your name, results, and timestamp within 72 hours before registering.
Please bring with you a digital or print copy of your negative results.
Masks are highly encouraged at all times for all registrants at the summit, except when speaking on stage, eating, and drinking.
We will conduct daily temperature screenings of guests, encourage social distancing, and hand hygiene. We will keep you posted if there are any further updates.
**Full vaccination” means that either 14 days have passed since receiving the second dose of FDA or WHO authorized double-dose vaccines or that 14 days have passed since receiving the sole dose of FDA or WHO authorized single-dose vaccines.

Can I register onsite?
You should pre-register online prior to the summit, but if you have not, you can register upon your arrival. After checking in to the Doubletree Hotel you can immediately go to registration in the lobby. All registrants will receive their name badge, wristband, and event tickets when they register.
Will I have to wear a wristband the whole time I’m at the convention?
Yes, and this is for your benefit. The wristbands must be worn at all times and will be required to enter events. This is the fastest way for security to know you are a paid registrant.
What is your refund policy?
We have spent countless hours and resources planning this summit. For this reason, we will be unable to give any refunds for registrations or events. Thank you for your understanding.
What is the dress code for events?
For all events on Friday and Saturday, we suggest business casual. On Saturday evening for the Gala Hafla, we suggest semi-formal attire.
