The Education is Empowerment Banquet will be a night to spread awareness about ACC and Ikram Foundation’s efforts to uplift Muslim women. Come out and meet past awardees and listen to how far along they have come in their journeys with the help of ACC and Ikram. Join us as we work together to put the Power back in Empowerment. Dinner will be served!

Ikram Foundation and A Continuous Charity (ACC), two national Muslim organizations have teamed up for the third year running, to raise awareness and funds to empower Muslim women in the US. In light of October being DV awareness month, we are collaborating to bring awareness to domestic violence survivors.

For two years, through the #FundHerFuture program we have provided interest-free loans for divorced and widowed women, some of whom are survivors of domestic violence. The impact of an educational grant for survivor can b

e life changing, a recipient of the program said that “After coming out of a financially abusive relationship which left me with zero, I knew I wanted to gain an education to better myself and my children.” Through the Fund Her Future program, many survivors like the client above, are able to complete their education and get financially independent to support themselves and their families.
