Session 1 and 2: Introduction to Dawah

  • Importance and Virtues of Dawah: Understanding the significance and rewards of calling others to Islam.
  • Role and Responsibilities of a Da’i: Exploring the duties and ethical considerations of a Da’i (one who invites to Islam).
  • Characteristics of an Effective Da’i: Developing the essential traits and qualities of a successful Da’i.

Session 3 and 4: How to Introduce Islam to Non-Muslims

  • Call to Tauheed: Emphasizing the oneness of Allah in Dawah efforts.
  • Understanding the Six Articles of Faith: Presenting the core beliefs of Islam clearly and effectively.
  • Common Misconceptions about Islamic Beliefs: Addressing and correcting misunderstandings about Islam.

 Session 5 and 6: Communication Skills

  • Break the Ice: Techniques for initiating conversations about Islam.
  • Active Listening and Responding: Building rapport through attentive listening and thoughtful responses.
  • Effective Communication Techniques: Utilizing proven methods for clear and persuasive communication.
  • Dealing with Tough and Abusive People: Strategies for handling challenging interactions with grace.
  • Developing Empathy and Emotional Intelligence: Cultivating empathy to connect with others on a deeper level.
  • Engaging an Audience and Maintaining Their Interest: Keeping your audience captivated and involved.

Session 7 and 8: Direct and Indirect Dawah Methods

  • Using Modern Technology and Social Media for Dawah: Leveraging digital platforms to spread the message of Islam.
  • Using Social Media, Blogs, and Websites: Best practices for online Dawah.
  • Creating Engaging Content Online: Tips for making compelling digital content.
  • Digital Content Creation: Participants create a social media post or short video aimed at conveying Islam to Non-Muslims.

Sheikh Samih Jad Alkhattary is a distinguished South African scholar who has been blessed with the honor of spreading His message. He pursued his studies in Egypt and at the prestigious Islamic University of Madeena, where he specialized in Dawah and comparative religions. In addition, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in media.

He has also been invited to present his enlightening programs on popular television channels such as ITV and Hilaal TV, as well as on renowned radio stations like Voice of the Cape FM and Radio Islam.

Sheikh Samih has been recognized for his profound knowledge in comparative religions, and he has delivered captivating lectures, sermons, and engaging discussions in various venues including halls, churches, and open forums. Furthermore, Sheikh has daily tv programs on channel 347 on dstv, Sheikh is famous for his meaning of Muslim names short videos on tiktok @Samihjad, Ruqiyah sessions, interpretation of dreams, and successful marriage counseling sessions.
