The third in the series focuses on the evolution of the historic city of Isfahan, along the Silk Roads in Iran.
Originated back in ancient history before Sasanian era, Isfahan is an important city which manifests the art and architecture of Iran (called Persia until 1935). It is famous for its Perso–Islamic art, architecture and urbanism.
Even today, the city retains much of its past glory while dealing with contemporary challenges and competing forces influencing urban transformation.
