Description:

Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem

Abu Hurayrah (radyAllahu`anhu) narrated that the Prophet (salAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said, “Prayer is a pillar of the Religion and in it are ten benefits –  beauty for the face, light for the heart, rest for the body, and escaping the loneliness of the grave. It makes mercy descend, is the key to Paradise, is heavy on the Scales [of good deeds], [gains] the pleasure of the Lord, is the price of Paradise, and the barrier against the Fire. The one who establishes it has established the Religion, and the one who leaves it has destroyed the Religion.”

We encounter issues related to prayer every day and it is important for us to understand what the Quran and Hadith say about these issues. You will be taken through the absolute essentials of Purification and Prayer by an expert teacher so that you can be sure of the validity of your Salah in future.

In summary the course will cover the following:

  • Comprehensive study of the rules and methods of Taharah (purity)
  • Comprehensive study of the fiqh of Salah

The detailed course plan is as follows:

1. Taharah – Purification

Wudhu, Ghusl, Anjaas, Toilet, Tayammum, Menstruation, postnatal bleeding and istihadhah…

2. Prayer

  • Times of Salah, Makrooh times of prayer
  • Adhaan and Iqamah
  • Pre-Conditions of Salah (Shuroot) , Faraidh of Salah (Arkan)

  • Acts that do not nullify salah
  • Acts that are undesirable in Salah (Makroohaat)
