Ayesha is a fictional character who is Muslim. She was born and raised in West Philadelphia and has selected a number of objects that reflect her life, culture, and heritage, which she would like to share with you. Shahadah Abdul-Rashid, program creator, will talk about the objects selected. Participants of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to attend and interact with the objects.

The Getting to Know Me: Ayesha trunk will remain at the Frankford library for a month following the program. A helpful object guide is included which explains what these objects are and how they connect to Ayesha.
