Introducing Islam Workshop – Illiana Islamic Center

This workshop is an ideal opportunity for those interested in or new to Islam to explore the foundations of one of the world’s largest religions, ask questions to others who have embraced Islam, and enjoy a meal with other seekers.

The workshop consists of a brief interactive presentation followed by an opportunity to ask any and all questions about Islam over a meal.

Presenter: Dr. Will Caldwell

Dr. Will currently serves as the Director of Education at Ta’leef. He oversees educational programs and services designed to assist individuals as they begin to learn about Islam. He embraced Islam in 2006 and has gone on to study Islam traditionally with various teachers. He completed his PhD at Northwestern University specializing in the history of Islam in America. Dr. Will brings fresh perspectives and deep insights as a public intellectual, educator, historian, and convert to Islam.
