This practical introduction to Islamic geometry will be an exploration of patterns from Islamic traditions.

During the class, we will be using a compass and ruler to create geometric pattern templates and will go through the process of transferring and repeating the template.

The last part of the session will be an opportunity to explore techniques to paint your geometric art.

Equipment and materials will be provided during the class.

No prior experience is required
