Islamic Resource Group’s Building Bridges Awards Banquet – 2022
2022 Theme: Interfaith Friendships
Featuring a Keynote Address from Prof. Todd Green
“From Allyship to Friendship: How a Career of Fighting Islamophobia Has Transformed My Relationship with Muslims”
IBBA 2022 will also feature the following:
- A pre-dinner reception from 6–7
- An awards session for community leaders and allies
- An activity and presentation from our IRG Youth
- A silent auction with pieces of art and other gifts
What is the difference between interfaith relationships and interfaith friendships? What would our community, state, nation, and the world be like if interfaith work transitioned from building relationships to building friendships? How has IRG’s educational mission over the years depended on the deep and transformative friendships it has generated with members of other faith traditions?
IRG strives to promote education and understanding through fact-based presentations and nuanced dialogue about Islam and the Muslim community. We serve schools, houses of worship, and professional organizations committed to the idea that our communities are better together not despite our differences, but because of them. We look forward to you joining us for this celebration of people who make this bridge-building work possible every day. Thank you for your support.
A special thank you to all of our sponsors. This event is made possible with your support, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with you in the future.
Formal attire is standard at IBBA. We also cannot accommodate children during this evening. Thank you for your understanding!
We look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday, November 9th.
Thank you to our generous sponsors of this year’s IBBA:
