A practical introduction to Islamic geometry. Using a ruler and compass, construct a pattern and create a painting to take home with you

This Islamic geometry workshop will explore a pattern from Islamic traditions – the eight-pointed star and cross pattern (pictured).

During the session, we will be using a compass and ruler to create a geometric pattern template and we will go through the process of transferring and repeating the template onto watercolor paper.

The last part of the session will be an opportunity to explore painting techniques so you can create your own piece of work to take home.

Equipment and materials will be provided during the class.

No prior experience is required.

Suitable for ages 16+

All attendees will receive 10% off that day in-store.
