Description:

Six years after the death of our dear Soleiman Faqiri at the Central East Correctional Center, the fight continues. Despite all of the facts surrounding his killing at the hands of correctional officers, to this day there have been no charges laid and no justice achieved. In Soli’s memory, we invite you to attend the 6th annual Justice for Soli vigil. We will gather at Dundas Square, Toronto at 6 pm EST to remember his legacy and to fight for the rights of those of our community with mental illness. Join us in calling on the Ontario and Federal government for justice and accountability to his family and all of the families of victims of death under the correctional system.
