9-week course taking place once a week on Saturdays, this course is open to both males and females.

Indeed, it is We Who have sent down the Quran and We will preserve it. Quran 15:9

The Quran is the unaltered word of God revealed to the Prophet Muhammad.

For over 1400 years, the Quran has survived the challenges and questions

regarding its authenticity, proving its Divine origin.

This course will teach you all you need to know about the Quran and answer questions like:

What is the difference between the Meccan and Medinan chapters?

Who compiled the Quran and why?

What is abrogation and how does it affect Islamic rulings?

How was The Quran revealed to the Prophet and why was it not revealed all at once?

Unit Aims:

Exploring the authenticity and miraculous nature of The Quran.

Understanding the history of the Quran and its preservation.

Understanding the context, nature, and underlying principles of revelation.

Understanding the science of Quranic Exegesis and its methodology.

The different types of Quranic verses and chapters.

The stages, forms, and order of revelation.

The motives and occasions for revelation.

Teachers of the Quran and different styles of recitation.

The compilation and preservation of the Quran.

The miraculous nature of the Quran.

Different methods of interpretation.

What will I achieve?

• Demonstrate the authenticity of the Quran and counter any criticisms

• Explain how the Quran was preserved and its stages of preservation.

• Identify different recitations of the Quran.

• Develop an enhanced relationship with the Quran.
