Workshop Aim: Part 1 of the series will dive deep into the Islamic fundamentals and secular perspective of marriage to thoroughly prepare individuals for marriage.

• Benefits and significance of marriage in Islam
• Marital rights, responsibilities, and obligations
• Fiqh of marriage
• Nikah process
• Deciding mahr
• Misconceptions of marriage (i.e., assumptions, cultural norms, etc.)
