Maryland Turkish American Inhabitants (MARTI) – Columbia – Maryland – United States
Description:

Migration has been a part of human history and still happening today, maybe at higher scales, due to the suffering of people in their homelands. We would like to discuss how religious communities have experienced migration and tackled it as both migrating and/or resident (welcoming) communities, giving examples from the past and present.

Scholars from Jewish, Christian, and Muslim traditions will join us to discuss the issue of migration from the perspectives of their corresponding faiths.
