Description:

oin us for an insightful discussion on poetry featuring Paul Sutherland (Servant of the Loving One, Poems on the Life of the Prophet Muhammad) and Lutfi Al-Nufoury. Their works, including Al-Nufoury’s latest collection The Invitations, are examples of contemporary Muslim poetry with a focus on spirituality, beauty, and nature.

In conversation with Sadia Ahmed, the poets will delve into the role of poetry in the Islamic tradition and the value it holds to Muslims today. Through their own works, they will explore the transformative qualities of poetry and its ability to deepen our perceptions, evoke emotions, and inspire service to humanity.
