Description:

Join us on June 8th for the first Muslim Literary Festival (MLF)! This inaugural event will launch a pathway for Muslim writers to learn about the publishing industry and connect with fellow writers & established professionals. Please arrive on time so that you can enjoy all of the exciting opportunities provided by MLF.

Who We Are:

Muslim Literary Festival is a not-for-profit organization that aims to cultivate and amplify the voices of marginalized Muslim writers in the literary world through community spaces, networking, workshops, and resources provided by industry professionals.

What We Do:

Our organization seeks to bridge the gap of exposure, resources, and opportunities between Muslim writers and the possibilities of their future writing careers through education, advocacy, and programs tailored to their specific needs.

Why It Matters:

In an often inequitable world, Muslims are routinely underrepresented in publishing spaces and overlooked for opportunities. We hope to create a community that fosters a sense of belonging for those individuals while equipping them with the tools necessary to navigate Islamophobic & xenophobic hurdles in the literary world.
