The importance of reciting, understanding, and memorising the Qur’an is immense. There are around 2,000 Madrasahs in the UK, and many Mosques have Makhtab (evening supplementary school) to connect the young generation with the Holy Qur’an.
Iqra Bangla TV presents its first ever Qur’an Competition called, ‘Saut ul Quran’, in partnership with the East London Mosque & London Muslim Centre, which encourages recitation and memorisation of the Qur’an, and implementing its essence in life.
‘Saut ul Quran’ intends to spread the message of the Holy Qur’an through the involvement of the youth, as well as recognising and inspiring the best reciters.
Who can participate?
If you are between 5–15 years of age and would like to take part in this Qur’an competition, then please register your interest by filling in the application form.
