Muslim community of Newmarket, ON and the Newmarket Islamic Centre (NIC) management together have initiated a building project that is going to fulfil the requirements of a place of worship and a community centre north of GTA. The Masjid is going to serve a growing Muslim community in the vicinity where there is no proper building to accommodate worshipers as well as the Quran learning children.

The community at large, especially the increasing number of young Muslims need the Islamic Centre to be built that, through community gatherings, socializing, counselling and Islamic education, would facilitate Muslim families raise the future generation in an Islamic environment, shape up their character and maintain their Islamic identity.

This fundraising dinner is dedicated to gathering essential funds for the expansion project of the Islamic Centre. As we embark on Phase 1 of this significant initiative, we seek the valued support of our community members.

The community humbly invites you to join our March the 3rd, 2024 Fundraising dinner event where you will have a chance to listen to renowned Islamic scholars, socialize with Muslim brethren and get to know about the details of the project.
