Courses Summary:
Quranic Seerah – Studying the Objectives of the Quran according to the chronological order of Revelation
– A course that will continue to explore Maqasid al-Quran wa Suwar al-Quran (objectives of the Quran and the Surahs of the Quran) through the lens of the events of the Seerah (biography) of the Prophet Muhammad’s ﷺ life according to Tartib Nuzul al-Quran (the chronological order of revelation).
Fiqh of Worship – Beginning of Guidance: Navigating the ritual with the spiritual
This course will explore worship beyond the scope of ritual legality. It will infuse spirituality in achieving meaningful prayer. Motion becomes devotion through the purification of heart, mind, and action.

Quranic Seerah: What you will learn in this course:
– Discussing the study of Tartib Nuzul al-Quran (the chronological order of the Quran): its study, benefits, and contentions.
– Objectives of the Surahs of the Quran according to chronology (Tartib): Surahs of the Makkan period (Pre-Hijrah).
– Discuss the differences and relationships between the causes of revelation (Asbab al-Nuzul) and the order of revelation (Tartib al-Nuzul).
– Discussing the levels of understanding of the Quran
– Aspects of ‘Ilm al-Munasabah – the relationship between surahs, ayahs, and within each surah.
– The amazing benefits of relating the verses to the seerah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the lessons derived from the tafsir of the verses in light of the guidance given to the Prophet ﷺ and the believers in the Makkan period.
Fiqh of Worship – What you will learn in this course:
– Why do we study Fiqh? The Importance of Fiqh
– The Objectives of Fiqh
– Brief Overview of the Development of Fiqh. The importance, uniqueness, and validity of the Schools of Fiqh: Imam Abu Hanifah, Imam Malik, Imam Al Shafi’I, Imam Ahmad, and others رحمهم الله
– Differences of Opinion: What is valid and invalid?
– Respecting differences in navigating our own practice.
– Navigating Madhabs, Fatwa, and Judicial Matters:
Answering – “Do I have to follow a school? Can’t I just follow the Quran and Sunnah? Can we pick opinions from the different schools of fiqh? Etc.”
– True Fiqh vs Legality (Fiqh): An Overview of Fiqh and the Inner Meanings of Fiqh
– Introduction to Imam Ahmad رحمه الله and the Hanbali Madhab
