Ramadan Charity Banquet | Texas Tech Muslim Student Association

Thank you for joining us for our annual fast-a-thon! We are super excited to see you there! The Fast-A-Thon Banquet is an annual TTU MSA tradition that includes a dinner with the entire community. During the month of Ramadan, Muslims all around the world fast from sunrise to sunset abstaining from food and water. TTU MSA is hoping to promote inclusivity and diversity within not only the Texas Tech campus but the Lubbock community as well. Our goals for this day is to be a catalyst for everyone to reflect on issues that affect every community in the world.

For the first time on Texas Tech Campus, we will be breaking our fast together with the newly introduced halal food brought to you by your very own MSA! So, our challenge to everyone is to spend just one day without eating or drinking from sunrise to sunset or to fast from a certain task throughout the day. The purpose of this banquet is to break our fast as one community during the month of Ramadan and come together to fundraise for Orphans around the world.
