Description:
An introduction to selecting culturally responsive children’s books.

Join CEHD Elementary Education faculty members as they provide an introduction to tools for selecting culturally responsive children’s books and use one to analyze multiple texts, including Skippy Jon Jones by Judith Byron Schachner and The Proudest Blue by Ibtihaj Muhammad.

Attendees do not need to read texts in advance to participate in the event; they simply need to come ready to learn and engage in the discussion.

We look forward to seeing you there!
