Description:

IslamicFamily and Islamic Relief Canada invite you to join us as we embark on a soul-enriching experience with ‘Reviving Hearts,’ a captivating spiritual retreat led by the esteemed Shaykh Dr. Muhammad al-Ninowy. This transformative two-day event is crafted to delve into the profound realms of mercy, compassion, and the art of healing relationships.

With a focus on the timeless call ‘Back to Basics’—centered on the Qur’an and Sunnah—Shaykh Al-Ninowy’s teachings resonate with a message of tolerance, peace, and compassion. As the senior-in-residence scholar at Madina Masjid and Institute in Atlanta since 2000, he has become a guiding light for those seeking a profound connection with their faith.

During this unique retreat, Shaykh Al-Ninowy will navigate the spiritual landscape using the classical text of Shaykh Ibn Talun Al-Salihi Al-Dimashqi, titled ‘The Forty Hadeeth on Mercy and Those Who Show Mercy.’ Translated and expanded by Shaykh Al-Ninowy himself, this text serves as a beacon for those yearning to understand and embody the essence of mercy in their lives. In an era where mercy, love, and compassion often seem elusive, the retreat aims to address the impact on personal relationships with spouses, children, parents, and friends. The program unfolds over two days, offering a space for healing hearts and drawing closer to Allah’s divine mercy, fostering flourishing relationships with our loved ones.

As a special highlight, attendees will be granted an ‘ijaza’ from Shaykh Al-Ninowy, conferring authorization on selected hadeeths presented during the retreat. Additionally, Imam Sadique Pathan will lead mindfulness meditation exercises rooted in Islamic traditions and psychotherapy, enriching their spiritual experience.IslamicFamily is pleased to offer childcare reimbursements for those attending the retreat, ensuring accessibility for all. Each participant will receive a signed copy of ‘The Forty Hadeeth on Mercy and Those Who Have Mercy,’ authored by Shaykh Al-Ninowy. A thoughtfully curated program includes a breakfast and lunch, providing nourishment for both the body and soul.

Don’t miss this unparalleled opportunity to revitalize your heart, deepen your connection with the Divine, and cultivate compassion in your relationships. Join us for ‘Reviving Hearts,’ a journey towards spiritual renewal with Shaykh Dr. Muhammad al-Ninowy.
