DESCRIPTION: The Holy Qur’an is the final revelation of Allah and the greatest book of guidance ever revealed to humanity. Within it are stories of the people that came before us, indications of what will come after us, and timeless guidelines for what is coming today. We see that storytelling constitutes more than one-third of the Quran. In these Qur’anic stories, we find relevant lessons, valuable reminders, Divine laws, rulings and impeccable wisdom. Stories are critical to explore, because they are a unique way to connect to the world we live in and the people who are mentioned in these stories. In this course, students will learn to analyze the intellectual, spiritual, and practical lessons that are intertwined within the deep river of Quranic stories.
