Description:

Join award-winning author Jamilah Thompkins-Bigelow for a fun and not to be missed Storytime! She will read aloud from her most recent book Abdul’s Story about a little boy who loves storytelling but struggles with writing, and Mommy’s Khimar about a young Muslim girl who spends a day wrapped up in her mother’s colorful headscarf. Following the read-aloud children will participate in Readers Theater, a dress-up activity in which children act out parts of the book.
