There are a number of chapters of the Qurān that the conscientious Muslim recites regularly for the fulfillment of various aims and objectives. In this section of our Tafsīr course, we will focus on Surah Mulk which will guarantee their regular reciters with the goodness of this world and the next. In sha Allah

Sūrah al-Mulk which the Messenger of Allāh [peace be upon him] tells us will safeguard against punishment in the grave and ensure successful representation on the Day of Judgment.

(The regular recitation, acceptance, and practice of) chapter Tabārak prevents punishment in the grave. Abū al-Shaykh in Ṭabaqāt al-Aṣbahāniyyīn: 264

There is a chapter in the Qurān that comprises thirty verses and which intercedes on behalf of the individual until he is forgiven. It is Tabārakal ladhī bi yadihil mulk.

Tirmidhī: 2891, Abū Dāwūd: 1400 and Ibn Mājah: 3786

Sūrah al-Mulk is focused on detailing the power of Allāḥ via His creation. It is essentially a call towards belief in Allāh and focusing on pleasing Him in all our endeavors.
