The Environment and Ecology in Islamic Art and Culture is an online live event that will take place on Zoom. Various professors and experts will discuss the intrinsic value of the environment to Islam and the great measure taken throughout Islamic history to accommodate the needs of the environment. Even more than that, they will discuss the natural advantage of homo-sapiens over other species and how this natural advantage compels us to have a strong eco-conscious approach to the environment.
This event will air from November 8 to 15. Each day, a group of professors will speak about culture and the environment, and they will discuss the different angles of the Islamic concept of environment. Following is the schedule for this event:
