We gaze at the stars, mesmerised by their glimmer. We look at the pink skies, thinking how beautiful it is painted. We stare at the horizon of the beach, in awe with how it seems to never end.
We witness the creations of Allah (s.w.t.) everyday, but have we ever stopped to realise the power that the Supreme being holds, to bring such magnificent beauty to life?
Allah mentioned in Surah Al-Mulk,
[He is the One] Who created seven heavens, one above the other. You will never see any imperfection in the creation of the Most Compassionate. So look again: do you see any flaws?
(Surah Al-Mulk, 67:3)
Just like how Allah (s.w.t.) created the perfect alignment of the planets and the orbits, He is the One who is able to make things perfect and the impossible, possible. Yet, not many of us are not able to comprehend the power of the Almighty.
Surah Al-Mulk is a significant chapter in the Qur’an that helps us appreciate Allah’s might. Learning about it will bring conscious realisation that our life is controlled by Allah (s.w.t.) and it will uplift our faith in Him.
Ever wonder how one surah can boost your iman?
Join Omar Suleiman in his upcoming seminar, The Guardian of the Kingdoms: Tafsir Surah Al-Mulk as we discuss the verses in depth and reflect upon the sovereignty of Allah (s.w.t.) through miraculous evidence and reminders in the magnificent chapter.
