Description:

The premiere of The Halaqah exposes participants to an introductory text that stood the test of time with its relevance, due to its aligned syllabus, especially with Singapore Muslim religious practices.

It aims to study daily practices from a traditional perspective while relating them to contemporary circumstances.

The study would cover the three main components of the religion; Iman, Islam, and Ihsan – making it an encompassing text that compiles the important things that all Muslims should know.

The Halaqah welcomes those who want to learn the Religion through the traditional method yet – through modern means (e.g Online and inclusive of Contemporary Topics). The class is open to those new and old knowledge seekers of Islam.

Come join Ustaz Sukri Ahyar, as he covers various topics for those who are keen to know about Islam through the books of Risalah Jamiah, An Agenda to Change our Condition, Ark of Salvation, and many more!

About the speaker:

Ustaz Sukri as a graduand of Kuwait University – Ustaz Sukri was selected as one of the few top percentiles of madrasah graduates in Singapore to further his studies at Kuwait University and, graduate with a B.A. in Comparative Jurisprudence and Shariah.

He is currently a Mosque Religious Officer at Masjid Al-Ansar. His interests include reading about history and humanities. Throughout his time, he still attends lessons with dear Teachers and Sheikhs from Kuwait and other parts of the world.

Day/Date: Starting on Monday, 11th May 2023 (Session is on every Saturday)

  • Total of 11 sessions
  • Time : 8:00pm to 9:30pm
  • 1.5 hours of the weekly session

Fees : 

$58 for All Modules (Participants will be given notes + a recording of all modules)

$15 for 1 Module (Participant will be given access to the recording of that Module)
