Step into the world of one of history’s most influential intellectuals, Ibn Khaldun (1332-1406). Recognized as the father of sociology, his scholarly contributions spanned history, economics, and philosophy. Yet, his profound insights are often confined to academic circles.

In this enlightening event, Dr. Shamim Miah invites you to uncover the intellectual journey of Ibn Khaldun. Drawing from his renowned work, the Muqaddimah, this presentation will unveil Ibn Khaldun’s perspectives on education, sociology, and history and their contemporary relevance.

In his insightful foreword to Dr shamim’s book on Ibn Khaldun the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Anwar Ibrahim, eloquently underscores the enduring relevance of Ibn Khaldun’s intellectual discourse in the complex landscape of our postnormal times.
