Nourishment of the Hearts (Qut al-Qulub) is an incredible text which systematically explores the knowledge of hearts and how one can draw close to their Creator by knowing Him, and doing various good works with a sound intention. The author, Abu Talib al-Makki, passed away in 386 AH in Baghdad. He was a hadith scholar, Shafi’i scholar, and specialist in Islamic spirituality.
