Balaagh means delivery of the Qur’anic message. It was a duty of Prophet Muhammad, repeatedly mentioned in the Quran and books of Hadith. The companions and their students carried it out diligently.

Balagha on the other hand means rhetoric, Muslim scholars have paid huge attention to this, used it in debates, commentaries, and literature to understand the Quran’s style and literary beauty. In this lecture Dr Peachy will argue while both are important, we must continue to robustly convey the Quranic message to others.
