Transforming the Way We Teach Islam

3-day (in-person) training for teachers of Full-Time or Weekend Islamic Schools

August 22, 23 & 24 (⅔ days mandatory)*

10 am-4 pm

What you will learn:

• How we form beliefs, emotions and values
• Psychology of age-related teaching and learning
• How to use resources, engage students and plan the lesson effectively
• How to teach Arabic, Quran and Islamic Lessons in English creatively
• Live Demo Sessions and Practice for teachers on using resources and lesson plans

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION will be provided to teachers who attend

Additional Details:

*Day 1 is Mandatory to attend for all teachers

*Day 2 will focus on: Ages 9-14, 15-18: engaging youth, how to respond to their tough questions (a live demo of a 2.5 hour youth workshop will be held this day. Sign up youth 15-18 for free here. Only 15 youth selected for demo)

 

*Day 3 will focus on: Ages 4 – 8, Quran and Arabic teaching, and practice session for all teachers
