United For Indian Muslims: Empathy Without Borders

Unfortunetly, due to the many emergencies that have been happing around the world, some issues have been overshadowed for far too long. During this event, we would like to raise awareness to the different challenges that our brothers and sisters are facing in India. Front and center is the persecution of Muslims in India under the BJP (Hindu nationalist government).

HCI has been in india for years now, responding to emergencies, and working on projects in the sectors of livelihood, education, food security, water aid, and more. Thus, we aim to both raise awareness in this event, and fundraise towards helping some of those families who have suffered during the most recent displays of Islamophobic incidents.
