Presentation and Discussion: What has been the role and reach of Islam in Eastern Europe? How have Muslim communities experienced and practiced their faith in that region?
 
About the presenter: Dr. Sinanovic is the Executive Director of the Center for Islam in the Contemporary World (CICW) at Shenandoah University. His work includes research on transnational Islamic revival, Islamic activism, politics of Southeast Asia, contemporary Islamic thought, and institutionalization of Islam in the Balkans and Southeast Asia.
