The Canadian Council of Muslim Women is proud to present the 2023 Women Who Inspire Awards Brunch and Lila Fahlman Scholarship Presentations, taking place on November 5th, 2023. This year’s theme is, “Women’s Leadership: Unleashing our Power with Empathy and Purpose.”

About the Event:

CCMW hosts an annual event, the Women Who Inspire Awards, which brings together Canadian Muslim women of diverse backgrounds to celebrate those who have achieved excellence in sports, business, education, arts, community service and leadership. This initiative was launched in 2007 to recognize Canadian Muslim women who have made a difference in the lives of other people in Canada and/or abroad.

This year’s theme, “Women’s Leadership: Unleashing our Power with Empathy and Purpose,” focuses on the incredible impact that Muslim women can have when they lead with compassion, empathy, and a clear sense of purpose.

What to Expect:

• Panel Discussion: Hear from our distinguished honorees as they share their journeys, challenges, and triumphs in the pursuit of positive change.
• Keynote Address: Engage with a renowned keynote speaker who will offer valuable insights and perspectives on the theme of women’s leadership.
• Awards Ceremony: Witness the recognition of outstanding women who have made significant contributions to society in various fields and the presentation of CCMW’s Lila Fahlman Scholarships.
• Empowerment and Networking: Connect with a diverse and dynamic group of attendees who share a passion for promoting women’s leadership and empowerment.

Registration for the 2023 Women Who Inspire Awards is open to all. A portion of the ticket sales will go towards CCMW’s Lila Fahlman Scholarship Fund. Join us and be part of this transformative event that celebrates the strength, resilience, and leadership of Canadian Muslim women.
